Four Falcon wrestlers have advanced to the UIL State Championships. Tristan Winters, Riah Ostrander, Lyliah Maldonado, and Titus Maldonado all placed in the top five at the Region 1-6A Championships on Saturday, February 12.
The boy’s wrestling team had the best team finish in school history. The team took fifth place with a team score of 99.0. Winters also made school history by being the second Boys Regional Champion at Timber Creek.
There will be a send off for the competitors at 9 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, to send them off to Cypress, Texas for State Championships.
