Marshall Williams has been named the new head coach of the Timber Creek Falcons Football program. Williams was previously the Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Southlake Carroll since 2018.

In a press release sent out around 3:30 p.m. Feb. 7, Keller ISD detailed the hire:

“Keller ISD Athletics is excited to announce that Marshall Williams will be the next Head Football Coach at Timber Creek High School.

Williams returns to KISD where he was the Running Backs Coach at Keller High from 2009-10. Most recently, he has served as the Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator at Southlake Carroll Senior High School since 2018 where his teams went 26-2 over the two seasons he was with the school. Coach Williams has also had stints as the Offensive Coordinator at Brewer, Lucas Lovejoy, Cedar Ridge, and Burleson.

He has a proven track record and has found tremendous success in his 16 years as coach. We are confident he will bring that same dedication to TCHS and be a terrific addition to the Falcon Family.

Coach Williams had the following to share: “I’m honored to join Timber Creek High School and excited for the opportunity to work with our amazing Falcons student-athletes. Keller ISD has a reputation for its strong community support for extracurricular programming, and I’m looking forward to building on the already stellar reputation of TCHS Athletics.”

Coach Williams spoke to his current players at Carroll Senior High School Friday afternoon and will meet with Timber Creek High School athletes and staff on Monday.  He will also serve as the school’s Boys Athletic Coordinator.”

In December 2019, former TCHS Head Coach Kevin Golden, who’d been with the school since it opened, resigned from the position. Timber Creek finished 3-7 last season, while missing the playoffs for a third consecutive year.
