Tryout applications to be considered as the next Falcon mascot will be available outside of Alisha Fickle’s classroom, M225. Packets will be due Friday, May 17. After the packet application process has been complete, a select group of qualified candidates will be chosen to tryout on the following Monday. Tryouts for the 2019-2020 Falcon Mascot will be held on Monday, May 20.
Students who wish to tryout will need to prepare a one and a half to two minute skit. The skit is expected to have an overall theme, as well as school spirit, family-friendly humor, school appropriate props. Additionally the skit must have a clear plot structure with a beginning, middle, and end.
It is important for applicants to know the responsibilities that come with being the mascot. They must attend home sports games, such as football or basketball, pep-rallies and other select school events.
