Timber Creek and Fossil Ridge are teaming up to raise money for St. Jude’s Research Hospital to end childhood cancer by hosting the “Gold Out” game on Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Keller ISD stadium. Timber Creek students will be sitting on the away side.

For two years, Fossil and Timber have joined forces against breast cancer during Oct., breast cancer awareness month. However, since the game was scheduled earlier this year than it has ever been before, Fossil and Timber teamed up to raise money for St. Jude’s to end childhood cancer.

September is childhood cancer awareness month. The color for childhood cancer awareness is gold which is also one of the colors in both Fossil and Timber share.

The Creek and The Ridge Yearbook will donate $5 to St. Jude’s for every Timber and Fossil yearbook and senior ad bought between Sept. 21 and Sept. 24 at yearbookforever.com.

“Gold Out” shirts and accessories are sold at all lunches. The shirts are $15 and all the proceeds go to St. Jude’s.

Make sure to show your support for childhood cancer awareness and our TC football team by wearing your “Gold Out” shirt to the game.

There will be a special “Gold Out” Snapchat filter for the game. The filter was made by The Creek Yearbook. The Creek and The Ridge Yearbook staffs will be handing out 500 fans to the respective sides that match the Snapchat filter. The Snapchat filter will be active from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. the night of the game.
