This season so far has been nothing short of remarkable for the Timber Creek Falcon Varsity Baseball team.

In June of 2015, the Falcons were ranked #70 in the state of Texas. This season to start the year the Falcons have beat teams such as Denton County Home School, Rowlett, Denton, North Crowley, Burleson, Chisholm Trail, Vista Ridge, Moore, College Station, Flower Mound (the #5 team in the state), Crowley, and Byron Nelson twice. After all of these very impressive wins, the Falcons have made a jump from #70 to #12.

“This year was the one year that I actually saw the team become a true team, and that has been what has helped us become so successful compared to years past,” one of the Senior Captains Dalton Davies said. The other captains this year are Braylen Gage, Nicholas O’brien, Antony Orta, and Brian Klein.

“This year Keller was predicted to finish first in district. We are currently in first and have a perfect 3-0 record in district and are predicted to finish first,” senior baseball player Hunter Porter said.

Due to the success of the Timber Creek live streaming sports such as Basketball and Soccer, Broadcast Journalism students will provide live streams for Baseball and Softball games.
