Ten new picnic tables have been installed outside the cafeteria.
The tables are provided by Sodexo, the same company who will bring the food truck to Timber Creek.
Although the picnic tables’ main purpose is to provide seating closer to the food truck when it is at Timber Creek, when weather permits, the tables will also be available for student and faculty use during all lunches.
“The side doors will be unlocked during this time for easy access in and out of the lunch room,” Assistant Principal Shawn Elliot said. “Those who choose to eat outside are still expected to clean up after themselves.”
