Keeping track of time and making sure you have enough of it to get all your work done is a tricky thing. You can easily forget an assignment and suddenly not have enough time to complete it when you do remember it again. Time management even got me when I was writing this.

Since the soccer season started in December, the varsity boys have been putting long hours into practicing. The boys have been hoping to win district and are making their way to that goal. They are currently fighting for one of the two spots left for playoffs; they’re in third place and seem very capable of making it.
Students Name The 2020 Mars Rover
NASA opened up a competition of naming the 2020 Mars Rover. They started judging the essays in November of 2019 and picked nine names for people to vote on worldwide. The winner and name will be announced in March.
Fragile Animals Face Monstrous Fires in Australia
The Australian bushfires have been burning since September 2019 and many animals are being forced out of their homes. Most animals will survive the fires, but they fact that they may not have a home to go back to or nothing to eat is detrimental to their survival
Student Council Creates Community Lockers to Help Their Peers in Need
Beginning mid October, Student Council members have been putting together community lockers. These lockers are for students who need hygiene products and basic necessities that they may not be able to get at home.
Crossing the Finish Line; Juniors Compete at State UIL Cross Country Meet
On Saturday, Nov. 9 juniors Robert Neeley and Eric Gordon went traveled to Round Rock, TX to compete in the State Cross Country UIL 6A Boys 5K Championship. In this 5K race, Neeley placed 63rd with a time of 15:47 and Gordon finished 72nd with a time of 15:51.
