Over the weekend Marvel actor Jeremy Renner was hospitalized after a snow plow accident at his home in Reno, Nevada. Renner was run over by a 14,000 pound snow plow and was airlifted to a near by hospital because of injuries.
Renner was attempting to tow a vehicle being operated by a family member that had gotten stuck in the snow. After the car had been successfully towed Renner got out to speak to his family member when the snowplow began to move.
Renner attempted to reenter the snow plow to stop it from moving. After that point it is unknown what happened. The family member reports that he was to seen again until after the plow had stopped moving.
Renner was airlifted to a near by hospital with blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. Renner has undergone several surgeries to treat them. Since then he has remained in stable but critical condition.
The actor has shared several social media posts since the accident. One of the celebrating his 52nd birthday over the weekend with a post thanking his icu team.
