Keller ISD announced June 24 that Shawn Duhon has been selected to serve as the new principal at Timber Creek High School. 

Mr. Duhon brings to TCHS more than 27 years of experience in public education. Since 2012, he has served as the principal of Carroll Senior High School in Carroll ISD. 

He had the following to share about being selected as the next TCHS principal: “I’m so excited about the opportunity to be the principal at Timber Creek High School. I am looking forward to building those relationships with students and staff in the Timber Creek community so we can all celebrate the successes of all our students.” 

Before joining Carroll Senior High, Mr. Duhon was an associate principal at Northwest High School, an assistant principal at Carroll’s Dawson Middle School, and an associate principal at Arlington ISD’s James Bowie High School. He also taught, coached, and served as an assistant principal at Grand Prairie High School. He holds a Master of Business from the University of Texas at Arlington and earned his Bachelor of Science from Cameron University.

Mr. Duhon will begin in his new role as Timber Creek High School Principal on July 1.
