Juniors, it’s your time to take the SAT at school — and here’s everything both you and anyone NOT testing might be looking for.

SUPER BASICS

Eleventh graders at Timber Creek High School (and other Keller ISD schools) will be taking the SAT test on March 3, 2021 during the school day. For all other TCHS students that are not taking the test, they will not need to attend school, and will instead have an asynchronous day. For asynch students, check with you Even Day teachers for information and assignments.

Juniors will need to be in their room and ready to test by the standard start time of 8:30 a.m. Students can find their room assignments using the giant link below.

Additionally, we’ll have these rooms posted in a couple of locations around the school to help.

Students need bring pencils (not mechanical ones), an approved calculator (check the student guide below for detailed model numbers) and snacks. They’ll also need a current picture I.D.

It was not necessary to sign up for this SAT. That being said, there are no spaces for any non-Juniors to take the exam. If you need help finding a future testing location, try here:

THINGS THAT ARE DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS TEST

Like previously mentioned, non-testing students will not come to school on March 3, 2021, and will instead have an asynchronous instruction day.

When students are completed testing they will be released as their room is finished securing test materials. We approximate that most students will be released from their rooms around 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Sack lunches will be available in the cafeteria after testing has concluded. Bus transportation will be available at 4 p.m. and students will be allowed to wait in the cafeteria for their transportation as needed after the SAT has concluded.

Please note that while testing is occurring, student devices must be switched off and will be collected. Devices will be returned to students before they are released following testing.
