This year’s Timber Creek Homecoming will be on Oct. 9, 2020 and won’t quite look like the others we’ve had. Here’s EYNTKA (Everything You Need to Know About) HoCo 2020.

Homecoming Court

Yes, we’re still doing a Homecoming Court. Nominations were taken Sept. 28 and Sept. 29 and include selections for all classes and even the staff “Emperor” and “Empress.” Voting will be conducted on Talon on Oct. 5 and 6 during lunches.

See the video announcements of the Homecoming Court Nominees below.

The underclassmen (Freshmen through Juniors) and staff court will be featured in the Oct. 9 Spirit Showcase video and will be crowned within that same video.

Senior Class Homecoming Court will be part of a pre-game ceremony at the Homecoming football game Oct. 9 vs. Richland. The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned live during the pre-game ceremony.

Homecoming Football Game

Speaking of Homecoming T-Shirts…

Homecoming T-Shirts

Timber Creek Cheerleading is selling a LIMITED amount of T-shirts for Homecoming 2020. They are available at the following link: https://timber-creek-cheer-booster.square.site/product/hoco-2020-t-shirt/17

The cost for each shirt is between $15-17 depending on size. Cheer will deliver your shirts in 5th period lunch on odd days or 8th period the week of Homecoming so you can wear on game day. Please leave your name and 5th period lunch on odd days and your 8th period for who the shirt should be delivered to if you are in person. If you are a remote student, Cheer will be at the school in the back entrance on Wednesday October 7th from 4-5pm to drive through and pick up your shirt.

Please note, refunds are NOT AVAILABLE if there is a COVID-related cancellation.

Homecoming and COVID

Due to social distancing requirements, large group planning, scheduling and a number of other issues, there will be some traditional events that will not be offered during the 2020 Timber Creek Homecoming week. Both the Homecoming Parade and the Homecoming Dance will not occur. Additionally, the Homecoming Carnival or Festival event is also cancelled, however we’re working on ways to connect with our former Falcons or future Falcons in the feeder pattern in a safe, remote way.

This story will continue to be updated as we get closer to Homecoming, but we also encourage readers to follow us on Twitter for updates.
