With Halloween around the corner, Student Council has ensured that the spooky spirit of October will be represented around school by lining the halls with themed posters and organizing a Halloween dress-up week.

Starting Monday, Oct. 28 through Friday, Nov. 1, students have the opportunity to dress festive while abiding by the Keller ISD dress code.

Masks and facial coverings like full face paint are not allowed at school property. This includes the KISD stadium during the football game on Thursday, Oct. 31. Students need to refrain from bringing props that may seem like dangerous items in order to ensure that students and faculty feel safe.

The spooky dress-up days are as follows:

Monday, Oct. 28 is The Mysterious Case of the Mondays. Students will be able to dress like famous detectives. Some ideas include the Mystery Gang from Scooby Doo, Sherlock Holmes or Blues Clues.

Tuesday, Oct. 29 is Time Traveler Tuesday. Students can look into the future or reflect on the past by dressing up as though they’re from a different time. Some past ideas include former presidents, monarchs, and even cowboys, while future ideas include aliens and robots.

Wednesday, Oct. 30 is Walt Disney Wednesday. Students will make school the happiest place on Earth by dressing up as their favorite Disney and Pixar characters. Some ideas include Kim Possible and Buzz Lightyear.

Thursday, Oct. 31, Thursday, is Don’t be a Turkey, Be a Falcon! Students are able to wear spirit wear and seniors are asked to wear their senior jeans or overalls in honor of the varsity football game against Central High School that night. Another reminder for those who are going to the game, that KISD does not permit masks, excessive face/body paint or props into the stadium.

Friday, Nov. 1, Friday, is TGIF! & Thank goodness we’re falcons! Students are encouraged to wrap up the spooky season by wearing college colors and spirit gear.
