On Tuesday, Oct. 1st, volleyball will play against Fossil Ridge at home for Pink Out night to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Breast cancer affects around 200,000 people each year. By hosting the Pink Out game, Falcon volleyball players are trying to shed light on breast cancer, and the fact that it has affected many women in the Falcon community.

“I’m super excited to be raising awareness for breast cancer in our Pink Out game this week,” varsity player Emily Pascale said. “I think it’s a great cause and I know it has affected many families including mine, so I’m super pumped and glad we can raise awareness for such an important issue.”

In addition to Pink Out on Tuesday, there are several other home match themes for the following weeks, and they are as follows:

Friday, Oct. 4 – White Out

Tuesday, Oct. 15 – Black Out

Friday, Oct. 18 – Purple Out
