After only four days of fundraising during gold out week, cheer collected $3,435 to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Because of the student body’s generous contributions through t-shirt sales, the proceeds will go support pediatric cancer research.

Falcons repped their gold out shirts at the pep rally and football game against Eaton High School on Thursday, Sept. 26. Go support volleyball at Eaton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, and rep the gold out shirts in the stands. Taking pride in wearing these gold shirts show Falcons’ support for pediatric cancer treatment and research.

Through the fundraising, students had the ability to make a difference in the lives of other children battling cancer.

According to the St. Jude website, their goal is for the families they treat to never receive a bill from St. Jude, or have to pay for travel, housing or food expenses, because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
