Musicals can provide an escape from reality through the storytelling musical numbers and choreography. The musical Big Fish, directed by Amanda Brundrett, is no exception.

Auditions for the fall musical, Big Fish, are Sept. 10 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in FA116. Callbacks will take place on Sept. 11 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., also in FA116.

In order to audition, students need to pick up an audition packet. Packets are available on the call board in the Fine Arts hall. The audition consists of a monologue, a song, and a dance combo.

To help ease students’ nerves before auditions, audition workshops will be held on Sept. 9 from 7:50 a.m. to 8:20 a.m., and 3:50 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. The workshops will take place in FA114 and on stage in the Fine Arts Center.

Additional information can be found in the audition packet. Questions should be directed to Brundrett in FA118.
