The Public Service club is hosting their first spirit night on Sept. 3 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chicken Express on Timberland Blvd. The proceeds collected will go toward new equipment, uniforms, competitions, transportation, and more.

Previously known as the Law Enforcement club, the organization has expanded to include three different branches: court systems, law enforcement, and forensic sciences. Each branch has a multitude of competitions that they enter each fall.

Last year, the court teams all advanced to the YMCA Youth and Government State competition. Several members from the law enforcement and forensic teams also advanced in the TPSA, Texas Public Service Association, competition as well, placing in a wide variety of events.
