Homecoming Parade

The Timber Creek Student Council is excited to invite the Falcon Family to join them on Monday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m. for the 11th Annual Homecoming Parade.

“With more than 50 planned floats, this is should be our largest parade yet!” Student Council sponsor Daniel Ward said. The theme this year is “Lights, Camera, HoCo” (Hollywood theme).

Nominees will be contacted by Student Council after counting and sorting. Those students will need to be available for the Homecoming Parade.

Voting will be conducted during lunches on Sept. 10 and Sept. 11, again through a link on the Talon. Winners of Homecoming King and Queen are announced during halftime of the Sept. 13 varsity football game. Winners of Homecoming Court will be announced during the Homecoming Dances based on their grades.

Homecoming Dances

Due to capacity crowds at previous Homecoming dances, as well as to increase the total amount of students able to attend, there are two Homecoming dances on Sept. 14, 2019.

From 6 – 8 p.m., freshmen and sophomores will be able to attend, with a 1200 ticket maximum. From 9-11 p.m., juniors and seniors will be able to attend, with a 1200 ticket maximum. Students will only be able to attend one dance on that night. Both dances will have the same DJs, decorations and activities.

Tickets are $20 each. Sales will take place in the main hallway across from the Fine Arts Center and students will keep their ticket(s) and must have them to enter the dance. Tickets are non-refundable and students who leave will not be allowed to re-enter.

Red paper tickets will allow access to the freshman and sophomore dance, while Gold tickets will allow access to the junior and senior dance.

Students must show either State ID/Driver’s License or Timber Creek Student ID from last year or this year to purchase tickets and to enter the dance.

To buy a ticket for a guest, whether they attend TCHS or are an outside guest, the purchasing student will need to bring a completed guest form (TCHS guest or non-TCHS guest) when they buy their tickets. See below for this form. There is a limit of one guest ticket per TCHS student.
