Just look at the headline of this story “Everything You Need to Know About 2019 Algebra, Biology, and US History STAAR/EOC Testing” — there’s a lot to cover. Don’t worry, we’ll walk you through it.

The Algebra 1, Biology and U.S. History STAAR End of Course examinations will occur May 7 and 8, 2019 at Timber Creek High School. Algebra will test on Tuesday, May 7 while Biology and U.S. History test on May 8.

May 7 will be a traditional school day for any non-testing student, but the May 8 schedule will be adjusted due to how many students are testing.

TIMBER CREEK HIGH SCHOOL – STAAR EOC Schedule – May 7, 2019

Testing for the Alegbra 1 STAAR/EOC exam will be running alongside a normal B Day schedule for non-testing students.

Students should be in their testing locations before 8:30 a.m. to keep testing times on schedule.

The Algebra/Biology/US History STAAR EOC exams have a time limit of 4 hours. Because of this, students will take a break for lunch during the test and eat in the test centers. All students taking a test will need to bring a sack lunch to school, as well as #2 pencils. Students will be able to purchase a sack lunch from the cafeteria. No outside deliveries will be accepted.

As always, students who are testing should be well rested, arrive on time, and be mentally prepared for testing. Testing room assignments will be posted at the North and South ends of our campus, as well as a QR code for students to scan and view their room assignment electronically. We will also have adults readily available on the morning of the test to assist students in finding their testing center.

All of North hall will be used for Algebra testing on May 7. See the relocation rooms list below to find out where classes will move to:
