Timber Creek Cross Country brought home hardware and high placements from the UIL District 5- 6A championships on Oct. 11, 2018.

The varsity girls team advanced to the regional competition, placing third in the team event. Sophomore Gabi Barrera placed 6th in the varsity race, completing the 5,000 meter course (5K) in 18:18.9.

Varsity boys did well, also, placing fourth in the competition. Senior Braden Lange won the 5K event overall, with a 15:14.2 finish.

Junior Varsity teams placed in the top three in both boys and girls categories. JV Boys was second place and JV Girls finished third.
