After much deliberation between the judges at the Bi-District One-Act Play Competition, it was revealed that Timber Creek’s production of Wit by Margret Edson will advance to the next stage of competition: Area. The Area competition will be held at Robert E. Lee High School in Midland on March 28-29, 2018 starting at 2:00 p.m.

Alongside Timber Creek’s company, the companies of Peter and the Starcatcher by Rick Elice, performed by Arlington High School, and Golden Boy by Clifford Odets, performed by Central High School will proceed on to area. The alternate show to compete at area if a show disqualifies is Fossil Ridge High School’s Violet Sharp by William Cameron.

Before the announcement was made that Timber Creek would move on in the competition, judges awarded actors and technicians for their outstanding work displayed in their performances. The Timber Creek students that received awards are:

Nathaniel Hicks: All Star Cast Award

Raegan White: Outstanding Technician Award
