Photography Club will meet Sept. 13 at 3:55 p.m. in room N201. In Photography Club, Timber Creek students can increase their photography skills, go cool places to take photos, and build relationships with fellow photographers.

Photography Club was created when club President Alaina Disterlic wanted to get involved by starting her own club. Disterlic wanted the club to be centered around something that she had a passion for, so photography came to her mind immediately. Yearbook teacher, Kathy Beers helped out, sponsored Disterlic’s club, and by the next school year, the Falcon Photography Club was established.

“I want it to be a bridge for students to connect their community and their class,” said Disterlic.

The club focuses on the relationships that students build with each other, while doing something that they enjoy. In Photography Club, students can learn photography techniques, grow as photographers, have fun, and learn from one another.

“Our main goal is to explore our community with different perspective and ideas, all while meeting new people and capturing the beauty along the way,” Disterlic explained.

To join Photography Club you will need to attend the meeting mentioned earlier in the article, get a form, fill it out completely then hand it back into the officers the next meeting.
