The first French Club meeting of the school year will be held Wed. Sept. 13 at 4:00 p.m. in room S109.
Membership is open to any student currently or formerly enrolled in French, as well as any individual who may be interested in the Francophone culture or the French language.
If France fascinates any students, they are encouraged to provide the $10 membership fee and join French Club, where they can expand their knowledge and connect with others who are interested in the same foreign language.
According to club sponsor Dorothy McFarland, the official club description is as follows: “The French Club celebrates French and Francophone culture by promoting the use of the French language and providing an exploration of the diversity and richness of French-speaking communities throughout the world.”
