The Interact and Rotary Club, a returning organization to Timber Creek High School, is a 20 to 30 membered institution currently sponsored by Melissa West. It is a self-governing, self-supporting club that provides support and guidance.

Members participate by assisting Community Storehouse events such as Run in the Dark, collecting funds for disaster relief victims, making cards for patients at Cook’s Children’s Hospital, and organizing/administrating activities at local elementary school such as Field Day. They also develop leadership skills, make international connections, and discover more opportunities to connect with Rotary.

Meetings are held every second Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in room S217. The annual membership dues for Interact Club are $15, which includes a t-shirt.

The Interact and Rotary Club is most recognized for their participation in the Shelter Box Program from the past two years. An international relief charity that serves on hand assistance to people who were afflicted by natural disasters. When asked how the club succeeded in the program, West responded, “we raised the most out of all the Keller ISD schools, so we’re pretty pumped about that.”

More information about the club can be found by contacting West.
