A Keller ISD Community and Employee Health and Wellness Fair will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Timberview Middle School. It will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 5 p.m. The activity is counted toward the Keller Working on Wellness (KWOW) Award and employees receive points for attending the fair.
There will be giveaways and door prizes as well as information on body mass index, blood pressure and vision screenings. Car seat checks and a texting-and-driving simulator will be available as well. Entertainment by the Keller ISD Fine Arts students, cheerleaders, football players and pumpkin painting will also be at the fair. Sodexo will be available with drinks and will be teaching anyone who attends how to cook a healthy meal.
Carter BloodCare will be at the event taking blood donations and a Mammogram Mobile Unit will be present. Anyone interested will need to pre-register by calling 1-855-318-7696.
