The TCHS Swim and Dive team took home the win this weekend at the Dual Swim Meet against Haltom High School.
A dual meet is where a school competes directly against one to three other school. The meet took place Thursday October 13 at the Natatorium against Haltom High School. The team scored a total of 373 points to Haltom’s 64 winning the meet by 309 points.
Points are awarded based on a competitor’s final placement in an event. First place receives ten points, second place earns nine, third earns four points, and it goes on from there.
Our mens team beat Haltom with a final score of 183 points to their opponent’s 31 scoring first in just about every event.
The female swim and dive team won with a total of 190 points beating Haltom by 157 points.
