It was the first loss of the year for a very strong Timber Creek team, falling to Denton 37 to 28.

Some very key plays were called back due to penalties, which is for the most part the reason that the Falcons offense had trouble. The Falcons defense was struggling in the first half but seemed to have everything under control throughout the third and some of the fourth quarter.

As always, amazing plays were made on offense by Cade Schrader and his amazing receiving squad, the run game too seemed to have a newfound energy with Dylan McCrary in the backfield with Schrader. It seemed Timber was just a couple plays short of still being undefeated. If just a few issues and penalties are cleaned up, it isn’t far fetched to say that Timber Creek would probably have a 4-0 record.

Even though going undefeated was the goal, the gold football is still a very real possibility for this years Falcons. Next week Timber Creek will play vs. Fossil Ridge who has been plagued by injury this season.
