Timber Creek Today – Sept. 8, 2016

First General meeting for HOSA will be today at 3:50 in the Lecture Hall. Anyone interested in joining please come to this meeting and find out about membership fees and all of the cool events that we have planned for this year.

French Club will have its first meeting today after school in S109. They are going to elect officers and plans this year’s events. The club is open to anyone interested in the French language and culture. Dues are $10 bucks.

The first Falcon Photography Club meeting will be September 21st at 3:55 p.m. in Mrs. Beers room in N202.

If you are interested in becoming an officer for FCCLA, please pick up an officer
application outside the door of M105.  Please have them submitted to Mrs. Smith by Monday, September 19th.

The “Shrink your Mum” campaign is back to Timber Creek. You can donate to the Families for Early Autism Treatment charity. The donation minimum is five dollars to get a button for your mum or garter.

HOCO shirts & tickets are on sale today and all week during lunches. Tickets & shirts are $15 each.  Cash, Checks made to TC Cheer Boosters, and credit/debit cards will be accepted.

Congrats to TC’s Wind Ensemble which won Commended Status in the Citation of Excellence Competition. Which means they finished among the top 50% of all the bands. Congrats to band for their hard work.

Choir cookies return tomorrow. Make sure to buy your choir cookies to make Daniel proud.

Our Falcon Football plays Flower Mound today at home tonight with a live broadcast on the Talon website.

There will be a pep rally today during fifth period. The pep rally will start at 3:10. The theme is purple out.
