For the 2016-2017 year, Timber Creek will be launching their annual Homecoming week earlier than expected.
TC’s Homecoming parade, game and dance will all be held the third week of school on the following dates.
The Homecoming Parade will be held on Monday, Sept. 12 starting at 5 p.m.
The Homecoming football game will held Thursday, Sept. 15 at Keller ISD Stadium. Students can expect a face off between TC and Denton for the annual Homecoming game.
Homecoming week will come to a close with the dance on Saturday, Sept. 17 at TCHS, sponsored by cheer.
This year the parade will follow a specific route, which can be viewed below.
Additionally any organizations looking to participate in the parade can sign up using the link: https://sites.google.com/a/kellerisd.net/tchs-hoco/home.
This year students and teachers will team up for a door decorating contest correlating with the homecoming theme: Timber’s Got Game. The theme will be centered around the idea of board games as well as other games. 3B classes will work together to create a theme for their door and have it up by Monday, Sept. 12 for the student body to see. The door décor will remain up until Friday, Sept. 16. The student body and class officers will judge the doors and the winning class will receive a $50 gift card to have treats in their class.
Additionally, everyday of this week will have it’s own board game-themed hype:
Monday, 9/12: Let’s Go Fishin’ – Wear fishing attire.
Tuesday 9/13: Gotta Clue What You Want to Do? – Dress like your future occupation.
Wednesday 9/14: Battle of the Classes – Wear your assigned class color (or camo):
Freshmen – white
Sophomores – black
Juniors – gold
Seniors – purple
Staff – gray
Thursday 9/15: Game Day! – This is the day to wear spirit shirt and mums.
Friday 9/16: Group Matching Day
UPDATE: Principal Bartlett says students and teachers can wear hats and bandanas to go along with their spirit wear each day.

Timber Creek’s Homecoming Dance will be held from 7-11 p.m on Saturday, Sept. 17 2016. The dance will take place in the cafeteria and will feature a DJ, a large open air photo booth, a dessert bar and water stations. All of these will not be of extra cost as they are included in the ticket price.
Non-TCHS students who wish to attend the dance must complete and return a guest form in order to purchase a ticket. The guest forms will be available at the ticket sales table. Guests that want to attend must be 20 years of age or younger.
In order for students to enter the dance they MUST have a form of photo identification and a dance ticket. Students may bring their school ID, drivers license, etc.
