Street Eatz has finally arrived! On Thursday, March 24, Timber Creek finally laid eyes on the food truck.

On the first day, there were five options on the menu, including the cheeseburger, the Cali burger, the Jalapeno burger, the grilled chicken sandwich and the grilled swiss chicken sandwich. There were three combos to pick from: Combo one which was $2.75, Combo two included a water for $3.50 and combo three for $4.50 and this includes a soda.

Grace Kil, a sophomore at Timber Creek, said the food truck wasn’t worth the time investment.

“All the people told me that the food tasted good. So I was going to go get it, but then the line was way too long and we don’t even have that long of a lunch so there was no point in just staying out there…if we had stayed out there, we would have gotten our food and then lunch would have been over,” Kil said.

Brigit Teschendorf, a freshman at Timber Creek, disagrees with the opinion that the food truck wasn’t worth it. She said the food was amazing and found it to be even better than the food served in the cafeteria. As for the issue of the long line she says, “It wasn’t too long, but it was expected because it was the first time we had it.”

The Street Eatz food truck will return to Timber Creek on Thursdays, with the next scheduled time on March 31.
