Timber Creek Broadcast Journalism students started broadcasting select guys soccer games starting on Feb. 19, 2016.

Following successful broadcast of guys and girls varsity basketball games, students wanted to expand the program to broadcast other sports, including soccer, baseball and softball.
“We want to give students real-world experience in broadcasting live sporting events,” Broadcast Journalism teacher, Greg Janda, explained.
Additionally, the expanded sports will help other TCHS athletes get exposure for their hard work and strong abilities.
The first guys soccer game against Central High School will be streamed Friday, Feb. 19, 2016.
Other scheduled games are against Byron Nelson on Feb. 23, Keller on March 4, and Denton Guyer on March 11 for the TCHS Soccer Senior Night.
