“The Kelleys,” Keller ISD’s take on “The Tony Awards,” is set for Jan. 22, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Timber Creek High School.

“The Kelleys” is Keller ISD’s award show for High School musicals in the district. A judging panel has viewed each of the high school musicals and has nominated schools and students for awards such as, Best Actor/Actress in a Leading Role, Excellence in Choreography, Best Musical and many more. The panel of judges also provides feedback on improvements for each theater company to improve upon.

Timber Creek’s cast and crew were nominated at least once in all 23 categories for their production of “Guys and Dolls.”

Both Jake Slaughter (Nathan Detroit) and Caleb Shaw (Sky Masterson) are nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

Megan McCormack (Miss Adelaide) and Caroline Norton (Sarah Brown), are nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

“Guys and Dolls” is also nominated for Best Musical and Excellence in Marketing and Publicity.
