staff application

So you want to be a Talon reporter? Here’s what you need to know.

First, Talon reporters are in a full year Advanced Journalism class. This means you’ll have to complete the prerequisite half-year Journalism class (at least) before you can join up with Team Talon. Of course, that means you’ll also have to have room for that in your schedule. The earliest students can get into the class is Sophomore year, by the way.

Second, you’ll need to fill out this application, linked here: Timber Creek Talon 2016-17 Application

Third, we’ll try to communicate with applicants quickly so they can make informed decisions about their class selections for the 2016-17 school year.  We don’t yet have a specific date to let everyone know who’s in. When we get that, we’ll let you know.

Finally, it’s a good idea to follow @TCHSTalon on Twitter to make sure you’re reminded of any deadlines.
