TCHS Cross Country team members practice on Oct. 15, 2015.

The Timber Creek Cross Country team will host its 3rd annual Egg Nog challenge on the track after school on Dec. 17, 2015.

The premise of the challenge is to drink an 8 oz. cup of egg nog and run a lap on the track in 1:30 or under. After each lap completed you drink another 8 oz. cup of egg nog and run until…you puke. The last one standing wins!

Senior Cross Country runner Kristian Ramirez said his favorite part about the challenge is “throwing up with friends and team bonding through projectile vomiting.”

Although technically everyone has an equal opportunity to win, there’s definitely some with a little more reservations than others.

“I honestly don’t know why I’m doing this, ” Griffin Harper, second year runner and first-time egg nogger, said.

Everyone is encouraged to either come out and run or watch a friend you know is running. It’s free and so is the egg nog.
