Timber Creek Tennis’ fall season is complete and the group has netted some success.

Varsity ended at sixth place in districts, with a 2-5 district record, and a 7-7 record for the season.

Junior Varsity one ended second place in districts, with a 6-1 record in district play and an 8-2 overall record.

Coach Roger Thomas said the JV district record was the highest in school history.

Varsity Senior Katie Oliphint said on Instagram, “Been playing tennis with most of these guys since 7th grade and its been such a blessing. Couldn’t have asked for a better team to grow up with. Love these seniors and all the memories we’ve made.”

Additionally, individual players from Timber Creek earned All-District 5-6A recognition in the Fall 2015 season.

  • Rachel In was named “Girls Newcomer of the Year”
  • Adam Thomas made 1st Team with a #6 finish in Boys Singles
  • Kaden Johnson and Daniel Woodridge made 2nd Team with a #3 finish in Boys Doubles
  • Kaden Johnson also placed #5 in Boys Singles
  • Honorable Mentions went to Mikael Kohler for a #4 Boy Singles finish
  • Bijon Wilis for a #3 Girls Singles finish
  • Hannah In for a #4 Girls Singles finish
  • Emily Prater and Adam Thomas for Mixed Doubles.
