The Timber Creek Swim and Dive team will be participating in the Battle of 1709 this Thursday, October 29, against the Southlake-Carroll Dragons.

The Battle of 1709 is an annual meet for which select swimmers and divers are chosen to swim alongside other athletes from all four schools in the Keller ISD school district in order to form one “District All-Star Team.”

Named because the Keller natatorium and the Southlake-Carroll natatorium are both located on 1709, the Battle of 1709 is a toe-to-toe district battle: Keller vs. Southlake-Carroll.

The swimmers representing Timber Creek in this intense battle are Connor Allen (12), Elaina Allen (11), Andrew Bau (11), Mitch Blunt (12), Josh Clemons (12), Matt Goin (11), Kamron Gopffarth (11), Josie Gunn (10), Drew McDonnell (11), Pierce Phrasavath (9), Lexi Trujillo (12), and Gracy Whitaker (10).

The meet takes place at the Southlake-Carroll natatorium. The meet warm-ups start at 5 p.m. that evening, with the meet set to begin at 6 p.m.

Come out to the meet and support your falcon Swim and Dive team as we will join together across the district to defeat a common foe.
