Timber Creek High School varsity choirs won sweepstakes awards with division 1 ratings in sight reading and stage performance on April 16.

The TCHS Choir program took seven choirs—the highest number of choirs of any school that competed—to the UIL contest.

Division 1 ratings are considered superior and Division 2 ratings are considered excellent.

The results are as follows:

  • Non-Varsity Treble Choir:
    stage performance: division 2; sight reading: division 2
  • 9th Grade Girls Choir:
    stage performance: division 1; sight reading: division 2
  • Non Varsity Tenor Bass Choir:
    stage performance: division 2; sight reading: division 2
  • Varsity Treble Choir:
    stage performance: division 1; sight reading: division 1
  • Varsity Mixed Men’s Choir:
    stage performance: division 1; sight reading: division 1
  • Varsity Mixed Women’s Choir:
    stage performance: division 1; sight reading: division 1
  • Varsity Mixed:
    stage performance: division 1; sight reading: division 1
