Even after bringing a grand number of medals and trophies back home from their previous tournaments this season, members of the TCHS Tennis team are still on fire, preparing to dominate once again during their district competitions.

District matches for the varsity team will be held on Thursday and Friday, April 9-10, at Lewisville High School and will start at 8:30 a.m. JV1 will have their competition at Fossil Ridge High School on Thursday, April 14, while JV2 plays at Central High School on that same day. Both JV teams’ tournaments will start at 8:00 a.m.

Alec Pradhan, a member of JV2, said that taking private lessons and playing with more experienced members have helped him become a better player.

“I think I have a good chance of getting to finals or consolation finals,” Pradhan said.

Varsity player Stacy Wan is also all set for her last match before graduating high school.

“My partner, Jonah, and I have mentally and physically prepared each other as much as we could for this day, and we are ready to leave it all on the courts and kick ace!”
