The Timber Creek Falcons boys soccer teams took on the Central Chargers to end their season on March 20.

The varsity team entered the game tied with Fossil Ridge and Denton Ryan for fourth place in their district. For the Falcons to make playoffs they had to win, and have Fossil and Ryan both lose or tie. The game also was senior night, making it the last regular season game for seniors Darruis Miller, Manny Torres, Tyler White, Kaden Stuart, EJ Zimmerle, Nathan Lopez, Tito Zuniga, and Javi Hernandez.

The game was by far the most intense game of the season, and it also brought the most fans to the stands.

Central opened the game scoring first, but not long after senior captain Darrius Miller evened the score to end the half.

Central then scored on a controversial penalty kick, but once again the Falcons answered back with sophomore D’Anthony Miller scoring and evening the game with less than 10 minutes to go.

The game went down to the wire, when Central scored with 24 seconds left to take the lead 3-2 and win the game.

Junior varsity had a tough 6-1 loss against Central with Jared Preciado scoring the lone goal. The JV2 team won 2-0 with Jesus Abril and Adrian Allotey scoring goals.
