Beginning Wednesday, April 18, the Colorguard will be hosting audition clinics for students looking to join.

Audition clinics will be run from April 18-20, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria, and final auditions will be held April 23, from 4:30-7:00 p.m. The auditions clinics are a way to learn the audition routine, meet current members, and ask any questions if needed.

The Colorguard performs with the band during marching season and also has a Winterguard competing in the winter. They learn how to spin, dance and perform throughout the year with no experience necessary.

“My sister is in Colorguard and a few years ago they were a very small group of people,” explained senior band member, Chris Abrams, “and within a few years they have grown into a group that catches eyes at competitions and at football games.”

Students are able to earn their fine arts and P.E. credits by joining Colorguard along with making a new group of friends. The necessary flyer can be viewed below.
