Wind Symphony Seeking Special Instrumentation to Expand Program

The Wind Symphony is currently seeking to expand their instrumentation in order to play more progressive musical literature.

The Wind Symphony is the top performing concert band, and has several performance opportunities throughout the school year. The group has recorded for and been selected to perform at the Western International Band Clinic in 2016, and also recorded for Honor Band and the Midwest Clinic.

In order to be able to play more advanced literature, which often requires more parts and instrumentation, the Wind Symphony is in need of a String Bass Player, Harpist, and an accomplishment Piano player to add to the group.

If students are interested, please visit any of the band directors in the band hall (FA110) during the school day as soon as possible. All positions will be filled by audition.

If students have any questions, email Ms. McBryde at darla.mcbryde@kellerisd.net
