Juniors in the graduating class of 2019 and their parents have the opportunity to learn and receive information on the college application process and life after high school at the ‘Just for Juniors Night’ on Monday, Feb. 12. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. to in the Fine Arts Center.

Counselors are putting on the event to teach attendees on graduation requirements and credits, college admissions processes, ACT and SAT testing, and post high school options. If one isn’t able to attend the meeting but would like to be informed on these topics, counselors will post the powerpoint within the week of presenting it on http://campus.kellerisd.net/school/tch-005/Counseling%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx

Each of the counselors will explain sections of the powerpoint, and have a question and answer session at the end of the presentation. Counselors encourage parents and juniors to save their questions until the end.

“Our main goal for the Just for Juniors Night is to help junior parents and junior kids be prepared for their upcoming school year,” said counselor Jackie Swinney.
