Student Council Hosts “Texas Day” on Jan. 17

Deep in the heart of Texas…

The Creek will be having our first ever “Texas Day” on Jan.17. This spirit day is hosted by the TC student council, and they have encouraged all students to wear your best Texas spirit wear.

Head and founder of this spirit day, Kaiti Foreman, a student council officer, has been excited about finally getting to organize an official day to celebrate Texas in our school.

“We’re having Texas Day this year to show state and community pride by taking care of our school, like picking up our trash and recycling products,” Foreman said.

Bluebonnets will be planted around our campus in the Spring in honor of Texas Day, and the student council’s main mission for this spirit day as to promote anti littering in our school.

On top of all this excitement, the passing periods will also be amplified with some much country, western and classic Texas songs.
