The second annual Timber Creek 2018 Mr. Falcon Pageant will be held on Friday, Feb. 2 from 6 p.m., to 9 p.m.

The Pageant is open to everyone to watch, however only senior males can enter the pageant. The pageant will be held in the Auditorium in the Fine Arts center at Timber Creek.

“Some Senior officers from last year heard about the pageant from other schools……and brought it to the Creek,” said Emily Boehringer, the Human Growth teacher and sponsor for the senior class.

Seniors are nominated for the pageant by their teachers, but there are no requirements to be nominated — other than the fact that they must be a senior boy.

“We’re just creating tradition, it creates camaraderie among the senior boys,” Boehringer said. “They don’t have to have good grades, or be anything special in terms of the class room, we’re just having fun.”

Invitations will be sent to nominees, and an info meeting about the pageant will be held when all nominees have been confirmed. The pageant is only open seniors, however if there aren’t enough participants, Juniors may have the opportunity to get involved.

“We want to give freshmen and sophomores something to look forward to their senior year,” Boehringer said.
