Lady Falcon Basketball Plans to Take Court by Storm

Basketball Season is here, and the Girl’s team is prepared for victory.

Officially, the 2017-18 Basketball season began in mid-October, but there’s still plenty more games to come. In the first game of the season, the Lady Falcons had a clean sweep with all three of their teams. The freshman team scored 43-27, trailed by JV scoring 61-21 and then later varsity dominated with a score of 67-41.

Robin Nunley, a junior and a varsity athlete on the girls Basketball team, is excited about keeping that winning streak going. Unity plays a key role in their success, according to Nunley.

“We have a very tight bond. We know each other’s strengths and weaknesses while playing and even practicing. We hangout a lot outside the court, and that helps when there’s situations when we need to come together and work to achieve a common goal,” Nunley said.
