On Monday, Nov. 13, at Keller high school, Keller ISD hosted a college fair sponsored by GenTX for all middle and high school students in honor of Generation Texas Week. At the fair, there were over 50 representatives from across the country representing universities, technical programs, and the U.S. military.

“[GenTX is a state wide organization that] allows students to become aware of all their possibilities for the future and gives them information on the requirements for certain universities and colleges,” said Lisa Bradley, a counselor at Timber Creek. “[The program] gives kids enough information to where they won’t look back and wish they could’ve done more to prepare.”

GenTX also counts as a place where teachers and students can show a pride for their school by wearing their favorite college T-shirts. For students who are not ready, or missed the start to meet college representatives, they can visit the website at the below instead.
