On Monday, May 15 the 2017 prom nominees were released to the student body. Shortly following the release, controversy spread across students.
Due to a voting malfunction from the Talon system and fraud by some students, the nominations were found to be inaccurate.
The initial nominations will be thrown out.
Voting will reopen at noon on May 17 and will close Thursday, May 18 at noon.
The voting will be restricted by Name and ID only to Seniors and those graduating early that have purchased a prom ticket. Any other entrees will be marked invalid.
