Future Business Leaders of America, FBLA, students who competed at state competition in San Antonio will continue onto nationals the summer of 2017 in California. 21 students went to compete and only 9 left with a spot in the national competition for 3D animation, video game design, insurance and risk management, coding and programming and computer problem solving.

Mikayla Hittle, Andrew Bau and Miranda Cope, who advanced in the 3D animation category, created an animation almost entirely from scratch without using typical pre-made resources. Check out their animation below.

Logan Bowman, Jonathan Danner and Joseph Cruz, who competed in video game design, made their own retro 80’s computer game which is available to play on a PC: http://perfectpixel.party/ (NOTE: Have some patience while it loads)

Colin Sanders advanced in coding and programming for coming up with a system that allows employees to clock in at work and have customers log in when entering an entertainment center type business, along with creating the server that the program runs on. Luke Osborn and Chandler Smith used their skills to advance in computer problem solving and insurance and risk management.

Nationals will take place over the summer in Anaheim, California from June 27 to July 3.
