Timber Creek High School will hold their Class of 2016 Senior Prom on May 21, 2016.

Prom Information:

The event will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center in downtown Fort Worth from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Over a third of the Senior Class voted for the theme to be Arabian Nights.

All guests must have a photo ID to enter prom. Invitations were be passed out to seniors on May 16, 2016 after 4th period, but are not needed the night of prom.  All guests will be checked in from a master guest list.

Please check the final guest list outside Mr. Day’s room, M 226 to verify that your name and guest’s name are on the list.

There are numerous parking lots and garages within walking distance of the convention center. Street parking is usually free, but please check for no parking or tow zone signs. The closest garages are on either side of the convention center and are $15 to park for the entire evening.

No strobe lights are being used at prom.

Prom Nominations

This year, prom king and queen were nominated by Timber Creek teachers. Students will vote on their choice for prom king and queen during the event on May 21, 2016.

King Nominations:

Nkoola, Daniel
Casillas, Jonathan
Glave, Harrison
Thomas, Adam
Klein, Brian
Bishop, Zackery

Queen Nominations:

Hodges, Elise
Arneros, Yahaira
Gopffarth, Erika
Meseck, Jennifer
Hunt, Karsyn
Mitchell, Charlene

The King and Queen will also receive a special surprise at prom that organizers are keeping quiet for now.

“This year I wanted to do something that brought the entire school and the community into the event of prom,” said Senior Class sponsor Brian Day. “There’s a little bonus to being the Prom King and Queen this year that really needed it to be a more inclusive idea than just a singular nomination of students.”
