Timber Creek Class of 2016 — here’s a list of things you need to know about:
Green Cords are in and several seniors have not picked theirs up. Please have your senior go by M226 and get their cords from Mr. Day.
If you ordered your cap and gown late, the next delivery date is on May 16th.
Please make sure you have discussed the efforts your seniors are making to clear up their seat time if they have time remaining. These hours need to be turned in by May 13, 2016!
DAP stoles have arrived. If you ordered a stole for graduation, please pick it up from Mr. Carrington in C109, preferably before or after school.
This year, students will not receive their diplomas at the conclusion of the ceremony (they will receive the diploma cover). Seniors will pick up their diplomas at TCHS on June 1 and 2 from 1:00-4:00 pm OR from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday beginning June 6.
Balfour Delivery of Cap & Gowns:
Balfour delivered caps and gowns this week. If your senior did not pick theirs up, please have them go to the Counseling Department to get their order. Balfour will return one last time on May 16 during all lunches to deliver last minute orders. They will also take care of any exchanges (too small, too large, etc.) at that time. Please bring a form of ID to pick up orders.
TSI (Texas Success Initiative) Assessment:
TCHS will be hosting TSI testing on April 27-29 in the library during the school day. Testing will begin at 8:30 each day and last approximately 2 hours. TCC will be proctoring the exam for our seniors, but a student may use the results for any Texas college or university. To be eligible for the TSI, the student must first complete a TCC application and pre-assessment activity. Once the student has a TCC student identification number, they may sign up for the testing by completing the request form on the TCHS counseling page. Completing the TCC application is for testing purposes only; you are not required to pay a fee or sign up for classes. 1st come, 1st served! There are 150
testing spots. This is for seniors only, not Dual Credit classes for 2016-2017.
