The Timber Creek Swim and Dive team took first place in their first dual meet of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

A dual meet occurs when one school is competing directly against one to three other schools. This battle was between your own Timber Creek Falcons and the following schools: Haltom High School, Lewisville High School, and Richland High School. The meet began at 6 p.m. and went on until about 8:30 that night.

The competition was fierce, but the Falcons pulled through with a first place win overall with a combined total of 1,108 points. Points are awarded based on final placement in each event: first place earns ten points, second earns nine, third earns four, etc.

On our men’s side, Lewisville was beaten 151 points to 119. Richland was defeated 196 points to 52, and Haltom was topped by a score of 206 points to 20. Overall, Men’s Swimming and Diving had a final score 553 points.

Our female Falcon Swimmers and Divers beat Richland 180 points to 83, Lewisville 171 points to 87, and Haltom 204 points to 31. The overall combined total for Women’s Swimming and Diving is 555 points.

Congratulations to our Falcon Swimmers and Divers for having a spectacular first Dual meet.
